The Legacy:

Ramanand Kidarnath International famously known as RKI is leading specialty chemicals company with over 100+ years of existence and offering a wide product range of top-notch quality dyes and chemicals from renowned market leaders such as BASF, DyStar and Archroma to a diverse range of business verticals.

The Key Challenges

Now in its 3rd generation, the company never had any proper brand identity or any marketing collateral and did business only due to personal relationships with clients. However, with a spate of local players selling cheap products and stringent guidelines from top players, the company was getting challenges from top and bottom level both and were looking for an appropriate solutions.



The Solutions:

Phi Brands first suggestion was to have an individual identity that needed to have a bigger weightage then the principals. Their clients used to recall them with various names and so it was imperative that they have a brand name which is easy and can be common for everyone and thus the Brand Name “RKI” was made. Also in their journey of a century they have played an important role in the growth journey of various companies. This led to building their brand promise that they were Catalyst for growth. The complete new brand identity reflected their business, the continuous pursuit of growth and quality and, had a very contemporary look and feel but still had feel of strong company, Based on same the entire house styling and other marketing collaterals were developed. These collaterals have a similarity among them making it look like part of one family

The new identity and collaterals has been received very well across the target audience and has infused new energy in the firm with a vision to continue this success story for another 100 years
